The Connections For Life Thrift Store operates to assist with the funding of Connections For Life, Inc. Connections is a 501(c)3, one-year transitional housing and re-entry program for women who are coming primarily from prison, homelessness, Battered Women's Shelters and treatment centers. The program was started in February 2000 and focuses on providing services to women that allow them to go from dependence to independence. The program provides housing, transportion, clothing, job placement assistance, access to medical and mental health care., assistance with family reunificaiton and life skill traning.
